I use FileMaker Pro for (mainly) financial admin. importing bank data and adding necessary information to it. I started using TF last week and despite the lack of documentation it seems to be a good tool.

    A question:

When importing european bank data (comma used in front of decimals) and using TF (latest version on the Mac) in local language I end up with numbers in TF which are 100 times larger than the imported.
When I switch to US language the imported numbers are correct, but the currency symbol shows $ rather than €.

    Who has a solution?

    Cheers,

Import in US language without currency settings

Switch back to local and set currency?

Make sure the numbers don’t have any thousands separators or currency symbols in them and try again. Decimal separator should be ok. Tap Forms should use your Region Format settings to determine how to import the numbers with decimals.

This “problem” is solved. It seems there was a problem with one of my systems settings.
