    Hi,

I have set up TFP on Mac, iPad, and iPhone with iCloud sync, and everything is working very well.

I shared the document with the family using iCloud Sharing, but the document does not appear in TFP on the Mac for family members when they click the “Cloud download” button in TFP.

The family uses my a shared iCloud account.
And I have the full Family License for one year. (Still in Testphase)

How can I solve the problem?

    One more thing

on the familymembers Mac I just installed TFP from the AppStore and tried to open my shared database with the “Cloud download” button in the fresh installed TFP.

Is this the correct way to do it?

    Hi Helmut,

Did you share the link with your family member? They need to click on the link and then accept the invitation to receive the file. Then it will download and will appear in their iCloud Documents screen under the “Shared with Me” list.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

I found the link on the iPad. On the Mac there is no link.
    I will try it. Thanks.

On the Mac it’s in the document selector on the bottom.

No, there is no sharing button, there is only a button to send the document to another device.

Send document will copy the document to another device. It’s not for sharing.

And on the iPad there’s a sharing button.

I need to make a video on how to do this.

But to share a document with another user with a different Apple ID, first sync your document with iCloud. Then at the top of the document window, click the sharing button there. It’s the rectangle with the up arrow in it. If you don’t see it, customize the toolbar and drag it onto the toolbar.

When you click that you’ll see who is currently sharing the document. It will be only you initially.

Click the Share with other people button and you’ll see a sharing popover appear. Text, email, AirDrop, or whatever.

Then when the other person receives the link, they’ll click it and then accept the invitation. Tap Forms Pro will then open the document and start syncing it. It will be empty initially but will eventually download.

From then on, the document will appear in their “Shared with Me” list on the iCloud Documents screen.

    Thanks!

After clicking the link on the family Mac the sync in TFP startet automatically, it took a while, and now it works perfect.

    Thanks again.
