Hi Brendan, I have Mac, IPad and iphone.
Since the retirement of the IBM Cloudant service, I have attempted to set up iCloud sync on my database which is encrypted. Although the database appears in the database list it does not allow me access. I used my iphone to create the sync database and have deleted the others on my ipad and MAC. Once the iCloud file has been synced, Tap Forms Quits unexpectadly every time I attempt to open the database.
I have Tap forms Version 5.2.10 (Build 891) on my Mac and Version 5.2.9 (842) on my iphone.
I have been very happy with Tap Forms, but this is an issue that means I can only use the database on my iphone and this is not ideal. Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi Lee,
This looks like the same crash that’s occurring from the other thread you posted your crash report to.
Would you be able to email me a backup of your database to support@tapforms.com and I should be able to figure out what’s going wrong with it.
Have you tried using the Send Document function to send a copy of the document from your iPhone over to your Mac and iPad?
Thanks,
Brendan
Hi Brendan,
Yes, I tried using AirDrop from my iphone and had the same result.
Hi Lee,
It would be helpful if I could examine the database document to figure out why it’s crashing on the Mac version.
I should add that I have an iPhone X and there is no update available for this (5.2.9 to 5.2.10), I have sent an email with the database uploaded to iCloud using files
when opening the copied database, no Crash, but no data either
I cannot access the database on my iphone, how do I get it to you
or do you want the one in icloud?
Hi Lee,
I’ve opened your file successfully on both my Mac and iOS devices.
There’s no 5.2.10 for iOS by the way. 5.2.10 was a quick fix for Mac to deal with encryption not working.
There is data there.
Make sure the categories on the Mac version are expanded.
