Just a moment’s loss of concentration, and I clicked to delete my database within Tap Forms 5.3.45. I use Time Machine backups with macOS 26.2 – but how can I access the correct file within the backup?

You can restore the entire document.
On the main Database Documents list window, click on the document (without opening it), then click on the Show in Finder button at the bottom of that window.
Once the file is visible in the Finder, use the Enter Time Machine command in the menubar. Navigate back in time to find a previous version of the file. Select it and then click the Restore button.
If you’re syncing that document, then the sync system will re-delete the items you deleted. So you’ll have to first disable sync and click the Delete from iCloud button (if you’re syncing with iCloud) before you restore.
