I have taprooms 5 installed on two devices. i mean with my colleague and myself. he lives in new york. we have the same form.

we have 10 records each. once he goes back to new york he adds and wants to send me the new record.

for me to put it in to my form. we tried this but not importing.

    Hi Ram,

You could setup a Cloudant account to share that you could sync together instead of emailing records back and forth.

    Assuming iOS version:

Or you could use the Share button on the records list view (tap the action menu button and then tap Share). That’ll generate a .tfarc file of all the records in the form. If he sends it to you (or vice versa) and you receive a .tfarc file via email, when you open that in Tap Forms, you can import that from the Imports folder in the Files area. Tap the .tfarc file, then tap “Import Archive”. That’ll import all of the records that are in the form. But if you already have some of the records, that’s ok, because Tap Forms will simply update them. You won’t get duplicate records. New records will be added.

If you have a Saved Search that perhaps filters the records for “Is Today” on the Date Created field, then you could potentially get one record if he only created one record that day. Then when you share the .tfarc file, it will contain only the 1 record.
