    Hello,

When I am in layout, am I able to hide elements? And, in the Layers palette, what is the column to the left of the lock/unlock check box column?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Hi Gary,

There’s no function for hiding elements on the default layout, but on a custom layout you can just remove the fields you don’t want there. You can also create multiple custom layouts, some with some fields, and others with other fields.

That column is the tab order column. It lets you set the tab order for the fields on a custom layout. You can also set them by clicking on the –>| button when the layout inspector panel is visible. You will see the tab order numbers on all your fields. You can click on a number, type in a new value, press Return to accept the value, then click the Layout button to dismiss the layout inspector panel. Then when you click inside a field, when you press the tab key, Tap Forms will follow the order you’ve specified by the tab order.
