    Hi

I am using tapforms to make a large list of UK club and festival music venues where our band could perform, or has performed.

I have put together a tap form to record all the details about the various music venues, types of music etc.

But I am stuck with how to list the gigs we have played. I would like to use a calendar, then make a note to go with that date, ie, set list, how many in the audience etc.

If I use a calendar field, it only allows me to make one entry, not multiple entries (ie if we play a few times at a venue).

Is there any way I can make a linked form which allows me to keep a list of the gigs by venue, date, has room for notes, then allows me to add the details from the main form?

    Hi Barry,

You would need two forms for this. A Venues form and a Gigs form. On your venue form, add a Link to Form field with a one-to-many Link Type to your Gigs form. Then when you’re playing at a venue, just select the particular Venue record and add one or more Gigs child records to it. Your Gigs form can contain all that information that is specific to a single Gig. Now with the one-to-many Link to Form field on your Venu form, whenever you look at a Venue record, you’ll see a list of Gig records that you’ve created. Also, on your Link to Form field on your Venue form, enable the “Show Inverse Relationship” option. When you do that, a “Link from Field” will be added to your Gigs form which will point back to the parent Venue form. So now if you just look at any Gigs record, you’ll see which Venue you performed at.

    Thanks!
