    Hi,

Based on the number of inquiries about this in the forum already, I would have thought I could solve it without posting, but I’m afraid I’ve spent a couple hours on it without solving it. So, sorry for adding to the noise.

I’ve made an invoice form which uses a one-to-many link to child forms called “Item Line”, which has Days x Rate = Amount. (Amount is a calculated field). I have the Item Line Calculation field set to Amount, and the calculation type is Total. The Calculation row appears on the parent form, but it is empty. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Set the Calculation Type on each field individually and not on the overall form itself. You can do that either on the field properties or on the multi-column list view on the calculation summary row by clicking on the popup buttons there.

The form-level calculation result will display only at the bottom of the records list view in single-column list view mode.
