I’m fairly new to this app, but I don’t think this feature exists yet based on my searches here. Sorry if I missed something.
To be able to enter fuzzy dates into a date field would be extremely useful, at least for me. Example, being able to enter only the year, or year and month occasionally on a few records in a date field (most of them would have full, valid dates).
How you handle this could be configurable (part of the date field setup could be what assumptions to make about fuzzy dates), but it would even be useful if it was predefined somehow. Example, all dates with missing day info fall at the beginning of the month, or right in the middle, etc.
It looks like Default value for the date field to be parted into components.
