    Hi
I am currently encrypting my file with a password that has to be entered each time I want to open the file on either of my two Macs. I am considering using Filevault encryption as an added layer of security.
Does this pose any problems or am I good to go ahead and switch it on? In fact, also, if I do this, is there any need to encrypt the Tapforms file?
    Cheers….

    Hi Tony

    I always use File Vault.

But encryption is also valuable in case you leave your Mac logged in or if you backup your documents to a cloud service or want to share it with someone securely. It’s up to you that ugh. Remember that security is only as good as the strength of your password.

    Thanks!

    Brendan
