James NelsonParticipantHaving some trouble getting a label set-up.
Would like to use a Dymo label writer to print QR codes for our stock. Using a 1″ x 1″ label #30332 from dymo.
I cannot for the life of me get this to work. Is there any support for dymo printers in tapforms?
thanks

James NelsonParticipantI think I might have come up with a solution, but still curious if there is something you would recommend I do differently

BrendanKeymasterHi James,
Well, a Dymo printer isn’t any different than a regular printer I think. It just prints on tiny sheets of paper. So all you would do is create a custom layout, select Printer next to the Design For option on the Layout Inspector Panel, then choose your Dymo label printer for the Printer setting, then choose your page size from the Paper Size popup button. The layout designer area should resize for you. Now just drag fields into the layout designer area. Now use the print function.
The label printing engine in Tap Forms is designed for printing grids of labels on full size sheets of paper whereas the Dymo printer prints a single label per sheet of paper, but since there’s just one label per sheet, you don’t use the label printing engine in Tap Forms for that kind of printing.
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks!
Brendan

john cestaParticipantJust paid for my mac daddy version of TF.
You need to download the driver for the dymo driver for your printer you have (I have a very old one but the driver was still available)
Install it in MAC preferences printer settings
Then it will appear in the printer option in TFWhen you select the dymo printer the label build screen will shrink to the label size.
