I have just deleted a form rather than a record from my data base. Back up is with Time machine, can I rescue the situation?
    Any help gratefully received

Yes, very easy. Go to time machine… find a master tap forms database file. See the location in the attached picture. From there, cycle back through time machine to the last backup BEFORE the form was deleted. Restore file and done.

    Thank you very much indeed!
I will try later in the week when I have time to do this very carefully!

    Frank,

Sounds like it should work. I must be doing something wrong. I’m unable to find the tap forms database file in time machine unless I use the finder go menu. It will then appear the next time I open time machine. I lost a form yesterday so I scrolled back to where I thought it should still be, but no luck. I scrolled back several more times, but still no success. When I opened tap forms I still got today’s version that does not include the form. After making many attempts to get this to work, now NONE of my forms are present when I open tap forms.

    Help!!, please

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hi Jim,

    The location is here:

    ~/Library/Containers/com.tapforms.mac/Data/Documents

    The file is called TapForms_db.sqlite

Select it, then select the Enter Time Machine function from the Time Machine menu in the menubar.

Make sure that Tap Forms is NOT running when you do this or you could cause corruption in the database file.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
