Sue EllenParticipantHi there,
When I choose “photo grid view,” the images do not appear. (See attached screenshot.) This problem persists when I adjust the size of the thumbnails/images, etc.
(EDIT: I created a new field by accident, as you’ll see in the screenshots; however, deleting it has not solved the problem of the broken images in the photo grid view.)
Any tips? I’m on an M1 MacBook Air, 16GB memory, 1 TB of hard drive space free, so it’s not a system problem.

BrendanKeymasterHi Sue,
Just to the left of the slider there’s a popup button that lets you choose a Photo field to use for the Photo Grid View. Your column is a bit narrow to see it. So try making the records list wider. Then click the Arrange By Photo popup button and select your Photo field.
Thanks,
Brendan

Sue EllenParticipantThank you, Brendan! I’ve widened it as much as possible, but I still don’t see the option. Could you possibly take a look at the screenshot and direct me to where I should be looking, here?
In general, images seem to keep disappearing on me at odd times… and now I can’t seem to access the fields to edit them. Editing to be specific: I was editing the default layout. Now that option is no longer available. Only by creating a new layout can I edit anything any more.
I’ve been through the manual with a fine tooth comb and I’m genuinely not sure what’s causing this. Argh. Was working brilliantly yesterday–all I did was close my laptop for the evening, but it seems to have morphed on its own overnight!

Sue EllenParticipantAddendum:
I figured out what the problem was here.
For anyone with similar trouble who comes across this thread, you will not be able to see all the features of this program if you are using a MBA M1 13.3″ screen that is scaled to a 1280×800 resolution.
That’s the resolution I prefer because my thirtysomething eyes kind of suck. But no matter how I widened the windows on this program, certain features did not appear until I changed the resolution of my screen back to default settings, “creating” more space for the program.

BrendanKeymasterSee attached image. That’s the popup button I’m referring to.
