I have been using Tap Form for a few hours and really like it. However, I have run into a problem. I entered some telephone numbers in a contact file and then later went back to try to delete two of them. When I deleted the number it froze the program. I have tried it several times. The program usually freezes and once it crashed.

    Hi Robert,

So this is a Phone Number field type in Tap Forms you’re referring to? Or editing a phone number that’s contained within a Contact field type?

Is is the Mac version or the iOS version?

    Thanks,

    Brendan

    Hi Brendan,

I am using a Mac and the phone number was in a ‘Phone Number’ field.

    Hi Brendan, same thing here.

At first, I thought you had a North-American developer bias and that the international format (starting with “+”) didn’t agree with TF ;)
But then I tested with a simple number, and TapForm froze anyway.

The phone number disappears as expected, then immediately TF freezes (no error message). Quitting with cmd+q still works, reopening TF doesn’t seem to create any problem…other than the phone number being back.

TF 2 is still great, thanks for the Bento importer!

Ok, I’ve fixed this bug. Sorry about that.

The workaround for now is instead of deleting the phone number completely, just replace it with a space character. It’ll clear out after that and avoid the crash.

It’ll be in the next update. I have a few things that have been fixed now that’ll be in the next update.

After the holidays though because Apple shuts down iTunes Connect in a couple of days.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
