Twice now, when I’ve tried to delete a single image from a photo field with multiple images all images in that field were deleted, and there is no undo! This is particularly distressing because there is no record of which images are in a given image field. In both instances, I was working in the default layout view.

The first time it happened, I selected the image (I was extremely careful to select just one), and pressed the delete key. Poof! Both images disappeared.

The second time it happened (just now), I selected the image and clicked its trash can icon. Poof! Again, both images disappeared. I tried refreshing the records list, but, no, they were really gone.

I’m in the final throes of a research project. In some instances I have five or six images in a field, and I cannot afford the risk that they will all suddenly vanish (with no record of what they were) when I delete one.

Thanks in advance for a prompt response.

Hmm… I haven’t seen this issue yet. But I’ll do some more experimentation.

I just tested it again and I can’t reproduce that bug.

Would you be able to make a backup of your document and send it to me and I can see what conditions in your document are causing this?

Sure. I’ll need an email address to send it to.
