Is there a was to establish a default font for a note field? I end up copying text from different sources and pasting it into note fields. Because the sources have different formatting, the text in the note fields gets pretty grungy.
I know I can always find a record with the filed formatted the way I’d like and apply this formatting to all records; however, this seems a bit backwards (and I have to find the right record).
Macs have a “paste and match style” option cmd-opt-shift-v that would be very useful in this context, but TapForms Pro doesn’t seem to recognize this.
Thanks
Thanks
Hi Arthur,
You could use the Paste as Plain Text option instead of the regular paste. Tap Forms Pro will strip out the formatting from the content when you do this.
Thanks,
Brendan
Thanks, but that only seems to ignore markups (like bold or strikethrough), and doesn’t ensure that you are using the same font or font size when you paste text. I just tried an experiment by setting all of the notes to Times Regular @ 12 point. When I pasted as Plain Text into a new record, the font was Helvetica at 14 point.
