pierrot_rennesParticipantHi,
with the latest version, is it possible to configure the date field on the year only (yyyy) for display?
There is no longer the possibility of manually entering a default value as in previous versions
Thanks for your helpJune 8, 2020 at 4:11 PM #40849
Chris MedeirosParticipantHi Pierrot,
Would a Calculation field type work for your purpose? That’s what I have done to extract the year only for my form.

Sam MoffattParticipantThere should be a custom date formatter at the very bottom of your date fields and you can put in “Y” in it to get the year.

pierrot_rennesParticipantHi,
Thank you for your reply
For the moment, I’m using the Trial version
Initially, I used version 3.5.2O and there is no Custom Date field unlike version 3.5.11
Is this an oversight and then another solution with version 3.5.20 ?
With version 3.5.11, I can display the date on 4 digitsAttachments:

Daniel LeuParticipantYou should use Tap Forms 5 and not 3.5.
Cheers, Daniel

pierrot_rennesParticipantYes ? error of course 5.3 not 3.5

Sam MoffattParticipantYeah, I think it was added to Tap Forms 5.3 earlier this year. Tap Forms 3.5.20 is the much older version that is still available for folks who haven’t upgraded yet.
Tap Forms 5 added so many new features such as new CouchDB based replication (my favourite feature), support for scripting with Javascript and built in charting capabilities.

pierrot_rennesParticipantHi,
I’m very sorry !!
I didn’t pay attention to the version at all and I read 5.3 instead of 3.5.
I thought it was a new version !!!
Thank you so for your answer, it opened my eyes ;-))June 10, 2020 at 5:42 PM #40872
Sam MoffattParticipantNo worries, looking at that page it does look a little confusing. Might make sense to relegate it to another page, it’s been long enough.
