My iMac computer crashed, and after restarting, I received the following message:

    Error opening database file.
    Database disk image is malformed

I am able to access the database on my iOS device.

I’m not sure if I should reload the database onto my iMac from my iOS device or if there is a problem that should be addressed first.

Thanks, in advance, to anyone who is able to respond.

I would copy the database to the Mac from the iOS device. You always want to have a copy of the same database on each device anyway for syncing to work.

You can use the Send Document function or just use iTunes File Sharing to copy the document from your iOS device to your Mac.

Thank you for your help. I copied the database from my iOS device on to my iMac. The database on my iMac is now accessible and syncing with my other devices.

The Cloudant database is remarkably fast! I really appreciate the new syncing options. I wish you continued success with the rollout with this new version of Tap Forms.
