I just bought Tap Forms for Mac and iPad to manage registrants to a semi-monthly seminar. Each participant attends two classes, though they can mix and match which months they attend.
I would like to be able to print nametags for only those people who are attending a specific date (The dates they are attending are recorded in a field). How might I accomplish this?
Hi Tim,
I already answered your question on Facebook, but I’ll post my response here so others may learn.
“You bet. Just use the search mechanism to create search rules that match whatever criteria you need. There’s a chapter in the manual on searching. Basically click the gear button next to the search field to configure how you want to filter your records. You can save those searches for later quick retrieval. They’ll appear below the form when you save them.
And you can create labels with the custom layout engine. Just click the (+) button next to Default Layout to create a new layout, then click on the Labels button next to “Design for:” in the Layout Inspector panel on the right. Then you’ll be able to choose what label format you want.”
Thanks!
