Murphy TaiParticipantHi,
I’m using Tap Forms 5.2.5 (812) with my iPhone/iPad but I hit a problem with adding a new field with ‘link to form’ type. It simply crashed after selecting the field type ‘link to form’. It used to work before. Not sure if this is just a problem after the latest update.
Anyone has the same experience?

BrendanKeymasterOh… hmm… Ya, I just got that too. Not sure what I did to cause that, but I’ll fix it asap.
Thanks for reporting it.

Murphy TaiParticipantThanks for the fix. It’s speedy. The ‘link to form’ works now. However, there is another problem.
I tried to link a form with ‘join’ but then in the ‘linked to’ form, I’m not able to select the field to be matched. It is showing the field list of the ‘source’ form.
Can you check if you have the same problem?

BrendanKeymasterUgh! Don’t know how I messed that one up.
Ya, it’s getting the wrong list of fields. It should be getting the list of fields from the selected Link to Form.
I’ve just fixed it.
I’ll send out another update soon.
Sorry for all this.

Murphy TaiParticipantHi Brendan,
Again, thanks for the update on the ‘link to form’ issue. However, it seems the fix doesn’t work. Now, when I clicked on the “match values from linked field”, it crashes.
I tried multiple times with different forms in my file, all crahed. I tried once with a new file and two brand new forms. It worked once. When I repeat the same, it crashes again.
Note that I’m using the ‘join’ option.
Hope you can find the root cause and fixed it quickly. Thank you.

BrendanKeymasterDamn! I tested that, but now it’s broken. Doh! Ok, that’s my task for today. Sorry :(

BrendanKeymasterAlso, if you have the Mac version you can set it up there and let it sync over to the iOS version and you can at least use it.

BrendanKeymasterI found my error and I’ve fixed it (again). It’ll be in the 5.2.8 update.
