Cloudant sync option does not recognise database despite following all steps as advised on Tapforms website. The error message simply claims that the database is not recognised. The sync between my iPhone and Tapforms for Mac on laptop works fine.

Did you put anything into the Shared by Username field? If so, that’s the problem. Take it out and sign-in again.
When it says the database isn’t recognized, it usually means you’re trying to connect to a database that’s shared by another user. So unless you’ve got a different Cloudant account that you’re trying to sync your document with than your own account, then you don’t want to put anything into the Shared by Username field.
I could be wrong, but that’s what usually causes this error.
