I just had to set up a connection to our Cloudant database again. I’ve struggled to get it working the last few times I tried, but eventually got it figured out each time. I don’t remember having to use the CouchDB setting the last time I had to set it up, but it’s been awhile.
Anyway, I did get it working and documented the process in my notes this time. The reason I’m posting is it appears that the instructions you provide HERE have a piece of inaccurate information. The all-important warning near the top to use CouchDB says to use the “host” value in the CouchDB Server Address field, but that didn’t work for me. What did work was using the “url” value.
Just thought I’d share in case anyone else has the same issue. If I’m wrong and somehow messed this up, feel free to delete this post.
Cheers to the Tap Forms admins and users!

It’s been a while since I dug through all that Cloudant stuff. The new version of Tap Forms coming out soon will use WebDAV, Dropbox, iCloud, and Nearby sync.
The Cloudant has actually been rock-solid for us, other than forgetting how to set it up, and when we had to do that conversion to their new system a while back. Much better than the old iCloud sync that seemed to have a lot of issues.
Glad to hear you have a new version in the works. Exciting times!
