I am trying to make the user interface as dark as possible for use at night. Somehow I figured out how to change the background of the multi-column list view, but I can no longer do it.
I changed the background to medium grey and it seemed to automatically changed the text to white (or maybe I did it, don’t recall).
Anyway, I can/t seem to figure out how I did this. Can anyone help me out?
Tap Forms should automatically change the background of the multi-column list view when you go into Dark Mode.
But you can also change the record colours by selecting multiple records and then setting the colour for the selected records. There’s a colour swatch button at the bottom of the record details view to change it for individual records.
But it’s generally not required to change the record colour because in Tap Forms 5, it handles dark mode automatically.
Thanks for that. I had the Default Layout closed up since I only wanted to see the records. Doing that hides the color chooser as well.
I was also momentarily thrown by the chooser disappearing when selecting multiple records. I finally realized it moved to under the graphic showing multiple records were selected.
Yes, that’s so that you don’t have to set the colour for every record individually.
