In TF5 I have a very simple calculation Number1*Number2 where Number2 was in a related table. In TFPro this does not work, Number2 shows as Number1*TOTAL(TableName::Number2. I have tried amending it to SUM(Number1*TOTAL(TableName::Number2) but this does not help, both versions return 0.
WHy would TF5 calculations not transfer automatically to TFPro?
Hi Hugh,
Could you please email me your form template so I can take a look at this.
I didn’t actually make any changes to the math parsing function in Tap Forms Pro, so I’m not sure why this isn’t working for you. If Number2 comes from a related form, then it’s correct that Tap Forms should wrap it in TOTAL(TableName::Number2).
Part of the problem may be that there’s a calculation bug in Tap Forms Pro 1.0.3 right now. I submitted an update to Apple to resolve this issue a few days ago, but they have it stuck “In Review” and aren’t approving the update. I don’t know why.
I’m hoping they’ll approve it soon.
Thanks,
Brendan
