    Hi,

    1. APPLYING BACKGROUND COLORS – 1
    On the Mac there is a way to color records;
We select the record, and then at bottom of the window we click on the color box, select a color and that’s it.
But, is there any way to color several records at the same time?
I’m asking this because when I select several records, the color box at the bottom, vanishes.

    2.APPLYING BACKGROUND COLORS – 2
Is there any way to color columns?

    3.APPLYING BACKGROUND COLORS – 3
Is there any way to color just single cells?

    Thanks.

    1. Yes. If you select multiple records, the colour picker is displayed in the middle of the record details area just below the “# records selected” label.

    2. No there isn’t.

    3. No there isn’t, although if you have a negative number, Tap Forms will colour the text in red if you enable the Highlight Negative Numbers option.

You can apply a background colour to a custom layout though. You can also setup colours for Pick Lists and then set the Record Colour Field setting so that Tap Forms puts a colour marker next to the record that has a particular value from the field which has the Pick List associated with it.

    Hi Brendan,

    This is just a detail.
I’ve been thinking on this subject.

    Following the principle
(if there is such a principle; but it makes sense, and we notice it on TapForms design)
that Buttons, Labels, etc., should stay on the same place on screen layouts
(unless there is a strong reason to move it elsewhere)
because TF users get used to it, and when they need a button they will look for it where that button normally is located (that’s what happened with me), perhaps, even for multiple records selection, you should keep the colour-picker where it normally is located, that is at the bottom of the window.

    Don’t you think?
