    Hi,

Getting used to Tapforms, and enjoying it so far.

Is it possible to do a layout with a limited number of Fields, then once happy with the layout add additional fields and re-assign some existing fields to the new ones?

I am building a property survey form, primarily to be used on iPads onsite. One “form” for example goes through the properties doors, their construction, fire rating etc. It would be much easier to Layout, then update as I mentioned.

In the screenshots you can see the form I have built, the first pick list is “Door Type”, but when I change any of the door types, they all change to the same value, I realise this is because I am using the same “Field”.

I tried changing the Layer name, but that didn’t work.

    At a standstill now.

    Am I missing something simple?

    Hi Casa,

Each layout object you drag into the custom layout can only be associated with a single field. Also you can’t change the field that’s associated with a layout object.

So you’ll have to create a separate field for each. So in your case of Frame Type, you would need multiple fields. E.g. Frame Type 1, Frame Type 2, etc. Or better yet Entrance Frame Type, Kitchen Frame Type, etc.
