A question the Ratings field and importing.

Hello,

I am about to purchase Tap Forms 5, to use as a replacement for a Quotes app, and some other database uses.

I have exported the quotes data as a .csv file.

One field is a ratings field, and is exported as 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 (the number representing the number of stars in the rating for each quote).

If I import those numbers into a rating field, will they import as “stars.”? Or will I need to adjust the imported data?

Hi Jim,

They’ll import as numbers, but display as stars. Just choose the Rating field type when you import.

You can set the max up to 10 stars if you like. But 5 is the default.
