On iOS…
If you create a One to Many link and tap on it from either side, you can use the search bar and all works well.
However, with a Many to Many link, although tapping on either end brings up choices and a search bar, search actually only works on the Link To side.
Tapping the link from the Link From side brings up the list of records, the search bar and even the Saved Search icon. Yet, those searches don’t work.
Why is that?
Good question. I’ll have to do some investigation with that.
My totally uneducated guess is that…
The Link To in Form A shows the records from Form B and searches records from Form B.
The Link From in Form B lists the records from Form A but is somehow set to search the records from Form B.
Yet, I don’t really have any idea if that’s true or not.
