I tried to download a backup file from Dropbox but it is not showing up. When I try to download it again, I get a message saying the file “couldn’t be moved to ‘Tap Forms’ because an item with the same name already exists.” I tried closing the app and re-launching it. I’m using an iPad Air 2 with the latest version of iOS 9. Please help. Thanks!

I’ve seen this happen before, but I’m not sure what’s causing it.

Can you use iTunes File Sharing to copy the backup file to your iPad Air 2 instead?

Take a look at the Tap Forms Documents area in iTunes File Sharing. There you will see the list of backup file names. They start with TF- and end with .zip.

    Thanks,

We had this issue as well. The issue was caused because the download from Dropbox was not capitalizing the “TF” when it was downloaded. Previously we had been able to see and delete the file through iTunes, load the file manually with iTunes (from our PC) with a proper zip name. Not sure what the new rules are for that but searching the posts for that now :)
