    Is there a trick to getting mail merge to work? I create a new layout then add fields contained within bracket [field-01] but the contents of “field-01” are not displayed on the layout. All I am seeing is “[field-01]” on the layout instead of the value that is in that field.

    The mail merge actually happens when you use the Print command.

    Yes, that did make a difference and as a side note, it would be great if this would show in real-time to make previewing things easier. Lastly, I am using this feature to generate contracts and I am having trouble getting it to print on multiple pages. What I mean is that the text of my contract is too much to be printed on a single page so how do I get it to span multiple pages?

    You can’t directly span multiple pages. So instead, you should create a new layout with all the content you want on the next page.

    Then on the Layout Inspector panel, select the Print Next option. Tap Forms will print the currently selected layout, then it will print the next layout, then it’ll go on to the next record, and so on.
