Is there a way to use the share/send-to option on iOS Safari to pass information to Tap Forms? What I’m thinking is some sort of bookmark manager functionality so I’d want to pass the URL and title into a predetermined database. Alternatively would this be possible via a Safari bookmark with some Javascript in it, like I’ve seen for other bookmarklet functionality in the past?

The Share function works with Tap Forms only for copying files into the Files area of Tap Forms. For example, if you receive a .tff file you can use the “copy to Tap Forms” function on the Share sheet to copy that file into Tap Forms. The file will appear in the Files area and you can import it into Tap Forms from there. But it doesn’t work with Safari bookmarks. At least I haven’t tried it.

Thanks Brendan, So is there no way to add data to a database entry from another program?

Not at the moment. I haven’t opened up any functions for updating the database. You can view a record using a URL though with the tapformz:// scheme, but I haven’t added functions to modify or add records that way. You can generate a link to a record on the Mac version by using the `Copy Record Link’ option in the Edit menu or on iOS you can add a Date & Time field and then tap on the Add to Calendar option and that’ll generate a link to view that record and add it to an event in the Calendar app.
