In a form used for the year 2016 I created a rather large pick list which “Uses values from field…”.

I duplicated the form for use in 2017. But there’s no way to maintain all the 2016 pick list values and still be able to add new values to the list in the 2017 form.

I can’t find any way to export the values in a pick list, and import them into another list. Is there some workaround for this limitation that wouldn’t involve a lot of manual editing?

    Thanks.

Never mind. There’s a much bigger issue with this. If a pick list is defined to “Use values from field…” the values are redefined every time the form is opened. Let me rethink this pick list thing.

You could always export the form where the Pick List values come from as a CSV file and then open that up in Excel or Numbers, copy the entire column of values to the clipboard, then create a new Pick List in Tap Forms and paste the values into the “Add Values…” popover.

True, but wouldn’t you end up with a bunch of duplicates in that case (lots depending on the number of records). I’ll continue to look at it. I’ve found some inconsistent behavior and a crash or two which isn’t easily reproduced. I’ll be back. Thanks.
