I’ve just got Tap Forms for Mac and iOS and I’m using it to catalogue my book collection. I have an ‘Authors’ form and a ‘Books’ form. I use the ‘Link to Form’ field in my Books form to select authors from the Author form. But when I export the form (in either CSV or Excel) the fields in the exported CSV or Excel file are blank for the authors. Do you know why this might be, and how I can get the author information (forenames and surnames) from the linked Author form to show on the exported document?

You have to enable the Export Linked Records function to get the child records exported too. In a one-to-many, the linked records will be exported to a separate file. That’s because the two forms have different structures and can’t really be represented in a single column.
However, for an inverse Link from Form relationship, the first x number of fields of the parent record will be exported in the CSV/XLSX file for each child record. That’s because Tap Forms will combine the parent records into a single value and export that.
