Tap Forms Mac 1.0.2 Approved

Hey There,

Tap Forms for Mac version 1.0.2 has been approved and released to the Mac App Store by Apple today.

Here's What's New:

★ iCloud sync bug fixes and improvements.
★ Export Records will now optionally export linked records.
★ Export Records will now optionally export media (photos, audio recordings, drawings, and file attachments).
★ You can now detach files from File Attachment fields.
★ Added Swedish translations.
★ Added Norwegian translations.
★ Added Russian translations.

Oh... and the new Search Rules feature is in Tap Forms Mac. Just search for some text, then press the + button that appears below the Search field. Then select any field you have in your form and enter some search rules. You can click the Save button to save your search to make it quicker to access them again later. Searches will appear beneath the form you were searching at the time. You can easily rename them by clicking on the name in the left-hand forms list.

Search Rules are coming to iOS soon.

  1. Marco says:

I use tap forms for mobile surveys and have serious issues with the sync between my Ipad and the iMac/Mac book.
Sync on the mac is freezing the app and I have to force quit every time. The last Mac update (my Mac calls it 1.1, not 1.0.2) hasn’t fixed that problem at all. So here I’m sitting and waiting with surveys and forms I cannot sync.

  2. Jerry says:

I have the same problem & worse, tap forms won’t even open; it takes up 95% of CPU. Is there a way to delete tap forms application data? I think deleting the app and reinstalling it is not working because the old data is still stored on my mac somewhere.

Please contact me directly at support@tapforms.com and we can work together to figure it out. But FYI, your data is stored in ~/Library/Containers/com.tapforms.mac If you deleted that folder all your data would disappear and you could re-launch the app with all the default settings again. But you might want to take a copy of your TapForms_db.sqlite file before you do that. It’s stored inside that folder within the Data/Documents subfolder.
