Noticed CSV imports now support photo file names, as long as a photo exists in the tapforms folder.
Could you give me an example.
* On exporting a csv file from my PC, ref to photo file would be \pictures\sunset.jpg, if I have the same image in tapforms, how would it be found?

All photo files are referenced relative to the Tap Forms Photos folder. You can access that folder using the built-in FTP server with a client FTP program such as Cyberduck (http://cyberduck.ch). Then, just upload your photos into the Photos folder. If you have them in a sub-folder in your CSV file, then they'll have to be in a subfolder of the Photos folder in Tap Forms. For example, in your case, the file should be in Photos/pictures/sunset.jpg. Make sure you use forward slashes instead of backslashes as you have in your example as iOS uses a Unix based file system.

I have a similair issue as Simba. I want to build an inventory for my Scouting group. This inventory will include all kinds of data (description, quantity, quality, measurements, etc etc.) It will also include photos of the material.
So far for taking pictures within the app, things are swell.
But for some items pictures are already available outside the app in the Real World. I would like to import these into the app. I have figured out csv's import and export. No problem there. Edits can be made on the pc and within the app. But for the photo-part, things look different.
The way you link to photos and where they are stored in your app seems quite straight-forward (I am no expert on ipad and on the way you program these things, but I do know a bit about data structures and file organisation). Within iTunes I can download the pictures already taken in the app to my PC by means of "downloading" the photos-dir, but going the other way (uploading files into this photos-dir) is not possible. You suggest in this topic to transfer the photos Simba has from his PC to the ipad-app and place them in the Photos directory. There things get messy.
- In iTunes I see the dir, but cannot put files in it
- Through webdav and the webbrowser I can only access the Share-folder (and the import and export below it)
- Through FTP I can only access the same folders (Share and all below). I have used Filezilla and just to be sure I also used Cyberduck as you suggest here (although the issue of accessing the dir would be on the FTP-server side, regardless of the used client).
_ I have this in both versions of Tapforms I have tested.
This is my environment
- Ipad2 Ios 4.3 or 4.2, whatever. Jailbreaked because of some principal view on try-before-you buy.
- Windows 7 PC
- Vanilla Wireless LAN
- Tapforms HD
- Tapforms LT (max 15 records version to see if the other version was mutilated in some way)

It sounds like maybe you're using an older possibly pirated version of Tap Forms? It's not necessary to pirate Tap Forms because as you already have the LT version. Not sure what you mean by the "other version was mutilated".
I opened up access to the Documents folder quite some time ago so you should have full access to the Photos folder to upload files to using Cyberduck or your web browser.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the tapforms LT also, but with the same problem. The only LT version I could find was iphone only, no ipad. Since you are very sure on this issue, I bought the ipad version: I did not want to risk evaluating a iphone LT version for the ipad, nor did I want to evaluate a criple/pirated/outdated ipad version. So now I am on a nice and clean Tapforms HD version 2.1.11. But.... with the same problem. I can only access the exports and imports folders throught FTP (Cyberduck) or Webdav (IE). These seem to be the only folders offered by Tapforms. Where am I going wrong?

So when you FTP in, do you see the Share folder? Or do you only see Imports & Exports at the top-level of the hierarchy?
I just tested it this moment and I'm currently seeing:
/Drawings
/Inbox
/Photos
/Share
/TapForms_db.sqlite
If you don't have any Photos, then you might not see the Photos folder until you add one within the app.

You made me smile from ear to ear. You wrote a wonderful app and all is working as promised. I now can start using it for inventory of our scouting material. (The testing fase is over now that I can import external images into the database). The photo function is the main reason I got interested in your app and it all delivers.
